Zentriq Connect is an MCP connector that gives your AI assistant (web, desktop or mobile) safe access to your ERP: it reads your data, runs real financial analysis, and prepares documents as drafts. Nothing is ever posted without your approval inside Business Central.
One connector link, the same for everyone: https://app.zentriqsoftware.com/api/mcp. There is nothing secret to copy.
In your assistant: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the link, leave the OAuth fields empty.
Click Connect, sign in with Microsoft, pick your environment and company on the Zentriq screen, then Allow. Claude works on web, desktop and mobile.
Full walkthrough in the setup guide.
Your AI subscription does the reasoning; Zentriq provides the safe hands.
Customers, vendors, orders, ledger entries: your AI queries the standard BC APIs and reconstructs KPIs, margins and ratios even where reporting endpoints are missing.
Four packaged prompts ship with the connector: GL Control Scan, Month-End Review, Vendor Spend Audit, KPI Snapshot. One click in Claude's composer.
Purchase orders, sales invoices, journals, master data: 21 document types staged as drafts, each with a Review link that opens straight in Business Central.
The safe-write layer: why Connect cannot hurt your books.
The connector exposes six tools: five are read-only, the sixth can only create drafts. There is no tool that posts, pays or deletes.
Every draft lands on a Review page in Business Central. You check the lines and commit, or discard. Only your approval turns a draft into a real document.
Each draft records who asked for it. Every connection is scoped to one environment and company at consent, and instantly revocable per assistant from the dashboard.
Where things run and what leaves where: no fine print.
Zentriq's application and database run on EU infrastructure. Your BC credentials are stored encrypted in Europe, and Zentriq never uses your data to train models.
During reasoning, the data your AI reads necessarily passes through your Claude (Anthropic) or your ChatGPT (OpenAI), under the agreement you have with that provider.
You sign in and approve each connection; its scope is frozen at consent. Revoke one assistant or everything in a click. Optional personal links are shown once and stored hashed.
Your AI assistant inherits exactly the Business Central access of the account that authorized the connection, and every draft is logged under that account.
Zentriq Connect is included on every plan (including Free) while in early access. Reads run on your own AI subscription; drafts require the Zentriq Agent extension from AppSource, and the server-side GL Control Scan audit is part of paid plans.
Reading uses the standard BC APIs, but your Zentriq account must be linked to Business Central once: an owner or admin installs the Zentriq Agent extension from AppSource and clicks Connect in the BC chat. Drafts and the in-BC Review page also run through the extension.
On Claude, any claude.ai plan that supports custom connectors: Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, on web, desktop and mobile. On ChatGPT, any paid plan with developer mode.
Yes, via ChatGPT's developer mode (beta, on paid plans): the same link, added as a custom MCP connector. The packaged audit prompts are currently a Claude feature.
No. There is no tool for posting, paying or deleting. Your AI assistant can read, and it can stage drafts that you approve inside Business Central.
Zentriq is hosted in Europe and stores your BC credentials encrypted. When your AI reasons over your data, that data passes through your AI assistant (Anthropic or OpenAI) under your agreement with that provider.
Nothing for now: Connect is free on every Zentriq plan, including Free, during early access. You only need your own AI subscription. One exception: the server-side GL Control Scan audit is reserved for paid Zentriq plans.
